RockFocus is provided by Jason Wang.

License to Use the App

You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use RockFocus on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, rent, lease, or exploit the app except as permitted by applicable law.

Purpose of the App

RockFocus is a focus and reflection tool. It helps you record focus sessions, write optional thoughts, review statistics, and understand how you spend your time.

RockFocus is not medical, psychological, financial, legal, or professional advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition.

Your Content

You own the thoughts, memos, labels, and other content that you create in RockFocus.

You are responsible for content you enter. You agree not to use RockFocus to create or store content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, or violates the rights of others.

Data Storage and iCloud

RockFocus stores data on your device. When iCloud is available, focus sessions, memos, and labels may sync through your private iCloud database.

iCloud sync depends on Apple’s services, your Apple Account, device settings, network availability, and system behavior. We cannot guarantee that sync will always be available, immediate, or error-free.

Usage Analytics

RockFocus uses Mixpanel as a service provider to process limited usage and technical data that is not linked to your identity. We do not use Mixpanel to associate activity with your name, email address, Apple Account, or advertising identifier. How this data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

RockFocus Pro, Payments, and Subscriptions

RockFocus offers optional RockFocus Pro purchases, including a one-time Lifetime purchase and auto-renewable Monthly and Yearly subscriptions.

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Prices, billing periods, and taxes are shown before purchase. We do not receive or store your payment card details or Apple Account credentials.

Monthly and Yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

You can manage or cancel a subscription through Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals; access continues through the current paid period. Lifetime is a one-time, non-recurring purchase.

You may restore eligible purchases in RockFocus. Apple handles refund requests and payment disputes under its applicable terms and policies.

Data Deletion

You can delete individual focus records and memos. “Erase All Data” removes saved focus sessions and memos but does not currently reset labels or app preferences.

When iCloud is available, deleted focus data may also be removed from your private iCloud database through sync. Deleting the app does not necessarily remove iCloud data.

App Availability and Changes

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time. We aim to keep RockFocus simple and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may update RockFocus Pro features as the app develops. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Intellectual Property

RockFocus, including its design, interface, text, graphics, software, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Jason Wang, except for content you create.

You may not use the app’s name, branding, or materials without permission.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

RockFocus is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jason Wang is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of RockFocus.

Termination

You may stop using RockFocus at any time. We may restrict access if you violate these Terms or use the app in a harmful or unlawful way.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be submitted to a court with jurisdiction in the People’s Republic of China unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

Changes to This Agreement

We may update this User Agreement from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above.
